Experience the tranquility and achievement of a 5 mile canoe journey along the length of Coniston Water.
This is a full day package, (10,30am-4pm) and includes an island hop off where you can enjoy your packed lunch. On completion of the journey, transfer back to Brown Howe (starting point car park) can be arranged.
Canoes are the perfect expedition craft, carrying to 2-3 people. No previous experience is required, and mixed ability groups are welcome.
This is a full day adventure, meeting at Brown Howe car park, just 10mins drive from the Duck from 10.30am-3.30pm. £75 per person.
Terms & Conditions
What do I need to bring?
Water, please bring water bottles with you and we will be happy to fill them with filtered water at the Duck.
Waterproofs; we recommend that participants bring a jacket, trousers and footwear that are waterproof.
Transport to and from the activity location is provided by the participant.
Groups and individuals are responsible for their own personal insurance for the day’s activities, if they feel that they require it.
What's included?
All specialist equipment. This is dependent upon the activities that you will be undertaking on the day. M&T Adventures will provide wetsuits (where needed), and also helmets. If you have additional requirements they will accommodate these where possible.
A packed lunch including Roast Venison Sandwich or Spiced Cauliflower Pasty, plus snacks.
An experienced and friendly guide to help ensure you get the most out of your day in a fun and safe way.
These activities are fulfilled by M&T Adventures whom are a member of the AALA and have Public liability insurance.
